Unite is a suite of Smartsheet connectors that sync data between Smartsheet and leading business applications. This article covers what Unite does, which connectors it supports, and how it handles security and data privacy.
Overview
A Unite workflow defines how data synchronizes between one Smartsheet sheet and an external application. Unite gives you a no-code path to build integrated Smartsheet solutions, whether you are syncing Azure DevOps work items, QuickBooks Online invoices, or HR data from Workday.
Unite's connectors let you automate data flows, sync updates in real time, and streamline cross-platform processes without writing code. Teams use them to eliminate manual work, keep data consistent across systems, and collaborate across project, financial, and operational tools.
Unite currently supports the following connectors:
- Azure DevOps
- QuickBooks Online
- Sage Intacct
- ServiceNow
- Workday
- HubSpot

Security and data privacy
Unite includes the following security components:
- OAuth authentication: Unite uses Smartsheet OAuth, supporting the same security policies (SSO, MFA) enforced by Smartsheet System Administrators to access the SoftwareX application.
- Encrypted data handling: API keys and credentials are securely encrypted.
- Delegated permissions: Admin-authorized delegation for users without direct application access (premium feature).
